Torre Pellice is a small town, located in the province of Turin at the foot of Mount Vandalino. It owes its name to the tower built on the hill of the “fort”.

In the town there is an important Waldensian cultural center, which houses the Waldensian museum, where a collection of works by the painter Paolo Paschetto, author of the coat of arms of the Italian Republic, is located.
