GAD LERNER presents PAOLO NASO’s book

God Bless America

President Donald Trump surrounded by a series of pastors invoking God’s blessing upon him is one of the “icons” of our time. From the anti-Darwinian controversy of the early twentieth century to the apocalyptic theories on the Middle Eastern conflict, evangelical fundamentalism reveals a long and complex history that we will try to reconstruct. Journalist and essayist Gad Lerner talks with political scientist Paolo Naso, author of “Dio benedica l’America. Il fondamentalismo cristiano dai creazionisti a Donald Trump” (Claudiana, 2026).
